Ready and waiting!!

Yesterday, before leaving Rouen we picked everything up that we were leaving there and left the house ready to receive our furniture on Tuesday.  It looks so strange empty, especially after living there for a month.  Now we can’t wait to see our real furniture in there and to get settled in.

We have promised Emily that one of the first things that we’ll do when our things have arrived is set up the Christmas tree.  We already know where we are going to put it and our Christmas things are easy enough to find.  They are in the barrels that we used to send our things to France 30 years ago.
This morning, I went again to the store where we bought our internet and talked to them.  She faxed the papers again.  Hopefully, this time, it will work and when we arrive back in Rouen in a week we will have internet.  In the meantime, while in Reims, we still need to go to McDo because we don’t have internet or telephone in this house anymore.
Yesterday while I was relaxing in my recliner J someone tried to get into the house.  It was a real estate agent showing the house.  He didn’t know that we would be home.  Otherwise he would have called ahead and also rang at the doorbell.   Keep praying that the house here in Reims would sell.
