Our new home away from home!!

While we are in Rouen this summer we are living in Kristi Colas' little apartment.  Kristi is a missionary and has been in Rouen since she finished language school.  She is on her first furlough and has graciously lent us her apartment during the days that we are here, even though we have never met.

It is just the right size for one person.  In spite of being small we are very comfortable.  As I said before we let Emily have the bedroom and we are using the clic-clac (sort of futon) in the living room.  We have figured out how everything works and I've even used the washer.

The apartment in on the ground floor with one apartment above.  We haven't heard much noise since we've been here, so it is well insulated that way.    When you walk into the apartment there is a nice entryway.  If you go left you are in the livingroom, if you go straight you go into the kitchen.  To the right is the toilet, the bathroom (where the bathtub/shower is) and the bedroom.

. . . and around.  She calls it "exercising"
I told you it is small. There is lots of light through the big windows and also a small terrace.   It will work until we sell our house, find a house or until Kristi gets back from furlough in September, whichever comes first.

Have a great day!!
