Reunion--Part 3

Activities

Our one planned activity was a trip to the Aquarium in Gatlinburg.  It was well worth the trip.  It is on the smaller side but that does not take away from the quality of the displays.

There were two programs in large aquariums.  They have divers in the tanks with the fish who feed the fish and do some acrobatics while someone else does a commentary on the different fish in the tanks. One tank has all different kinds of fish and the other one has sting rays.  It was all very interesting for the kids and the adults.

They also have a tunnel with a slow moving sidewalk that goes through it.  The fish are swimming all around.  The sharks, sting rays and many other kinds of fish.  It is so interesting.

The kids loved the tanks where they could climb up under and into a "hole" in the middle.  There they were with all of the fish swimming around them.

There are touching tanks too.  The kids and adults go to touch crabs and spa fish where the little fish come and nibble the dead skin off of your skin.  Very interesting!  The sting rays can be "petted" too with the help of a diver.

Everyone really enjoyed the day out together.
