We've been having some very nice weather. After a very wet spring and start of summer, we are really enjoying this warmer weather.
Yesterday we convinced Emily that she needed to go outside and do her "work" outside. I got her all set up and told her to put her swimsuit on so that she could get a little bit of sun.
Since she was all set up and it was hot, we decided to set up our swimming pool. We bought this small pool in 2008. Emily enjoyed it that summer. In 2009 she had her cataract surgery and we didn't even set it up. We were in the States in 2010. In 2011 it was packed away. And last year our summer was quite cool. We weren't even sure that the pool would be in hold water.
But it worked. It was so warm out that Emily actually got in the pool while it was still filling up. She stayed in the water about 2 hours.

The weathermen are predicting this nice warm weather for the next 10 days after a cool down today. So she should get some good use our of the pool.

Love it! I kind of giggled when you wrote "get some sun" but she is in the shade!!! I love Emily's swimmsuit. Glad she was able to get cooled off.
Impressive that the pool was still good! Glad you have nice privacy bushes to enjoy your backyard. That is something I would really like, too. For a small backyard, you make the best of it. Just right for you three. Happy for you.
