Our last big sightseeing trip was to Paris. We had planned on going before we went to Center Parcs but because the weather was not good the day we had planned to go we scheduled it for the last Sunday they were here.
We had the best weather we could have asked for. The sun was out but it wasn't to hot. Just perfect.
We took the two cars and parked in a parking garage just on the outskirts of Paris. Then we took the train into Paris. We got off just at the base of the Eiffel Tower. A good place to start when you visit Paris.
We didn't take the time to go up in the Eiffel Tower. We were limited to one day in Paris. We took the Big Bus Tour. It is great. It goes all over Paris and while you are on the bus there is a running commentary on the sights as the bus passes them. At different stops you can get off, walk around, visit the monuments and then get back on. It is perfect for a quick visit of Paris.
