My kitty has deserted me!!
We have known for about a year now that she has some kind of disease that will eventually kill her. She has good days and bad days. Days where she runs from one end of the house to the other and days where her back legs barely work and she "wobbles" as she walks. She eats but doesn't gain weight. So she is cold all of the time.
Last winter she would sleep on the radiator behind the piano. This year she has a hard time getting up on the piano. Ever since we got her she would sit on my lap everytime I would sit down. We thought she was a lap cat. Now we know that she just was after the warmth.
Anyway this week we decided to spoil her and we put the heating pad under a towel on the couch in my study. She found it right away. She hasn't been on my lap since then.

Needless to say: She likes it!!
