I HATE BUSHES!!

Three days this past week we spent cutting the bushes around the house.  You might say:  "But I thought that was in your last post!"  And you would be right.  It was in the last post.  That was just the beginning.  We finished the back side of the house last week.  Then this week we started with the "small" corner.  Compared to the loooong hedges the corner is a lot less to cut.  But it is almost more work because we have to work around the shed.
Our back bushes.  A spider wanted in the picture.  He is on the lense of the camera.

So nice and neat!

Full moon over beautifully cut bushes :)

We finished that on Tuesday.  Then Wednesday and Thursday we worked on the extra-long side hedge.  Last year we didn't cut the top since we didn't have a ladder tall enough.  This year with the ladder we were able to bring it down to the height that is workable.  We finished our side yesterday afternoon.  We had plans to finish the neighbors side today.  But after thinking about it we decided to wait until next week.  We need a little bit of time to get over the aches and pains, scratches and bruises and get ready for the weekend.
Here we go again. . .

Mike's pick up the cut branches and putting them in the sacks.

Bruises from the ladder rungs

scratches from the cut branches

Starting this Sunday we will be in Laon.  We will be filling in for Clare and Linda Baughman who are going on a three month furlough.   Most of the time we will drive over on Saturday afternoon (3 hour drive) and come back either Sunday afternoon or Monday morning.

Mike went back to the dentist this morning for a follow-up visit from last week.  The dentist said there was still infection in the same place as last week.  She pushed and was able to get some of the infection out.  Mike has another appointment with the surgeon next week.

You are very hard workers. I would have called for a "professional" to do it.
I wouldn't have a tall enough ladder or trimmer.

It looks very nice. Hopefully, you won't have to do that again for another year!

Thanks for being available for the furlough folks.

Love you!
